It was truly love at first bite -- to the extent that those ribs were all young Essi would eat for a year! His pursuit has been relentless since then, opening his first BBQ joint at age 19 and then embarking on his Southern journey. Now, it all comes together with Southern Luv BBQ and Chef Essi is so excited to share his unique brand of flavor-filled BBQ with the world. As he continues to bring you new scrumptious foods and sauces, he's confident you'll agree we most definitely Raise the Bar in Barbeque!

Our BBQ is incredibly delicious. Simple Ingredients. Explosive Flavor. Most BBQ brands celebrate their founders' heritage dripping over hot coals, the real flavor in BBQ comes from the sauces!! This is why Southern Luv BBQ's founder, Chef Essi Tadrus, spent years traveling throughout the South, sampling the unique flavors in Texas, Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, Kansas, Tennessee, and Florida. His mission was clear: Raise the Bar in Barbeque

This meant combining everything he learned down South with his culinary skills to create what is now Southern Luv BBQ's collection of mouthwatering sauces. These are used with the finest cuts of meats (which have been slow-smoked in Hickory wood to tender, juicy perfection -- They've also been bottled up for you to enjoy at home. They're even the not-so-secret ingredient in some of the tastiest potato chips around!

Most popular BBQ sauces are made by combining two bases, so most of them taste the same. Chef Essi wanted his sauces to be distinctive and of the highest quality. Each is an original recipe and nothing pre-made or canned is used ever.
