Job Overview:

Southern Luv BBQ Restaurant is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exceptional customer service, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including cooks and cashiers.

Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates.


Operational Management:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.

Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring stock levels.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.


Customer Service:

Promote excellent customer service by leading by example and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the dining experience.

Develop and maintain relationships with regular customers to foster loyalty.


Financial Management:

Assist in budgeting and financial planning, including monitoring expenses and revenue.

Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting from staff.

Health and Safety Compliance:


Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.

Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
